Say I do at Jabulani Winery at The Richmond Estate, Ottawa’s venue of the year in 2023. The only winery in Ottawa hosting barn weddings. The estate only hosts one wedding per day on our 37-acre Richmond Esate. 30 minutes from Downtown Ottawa. It is the venue you didn’t think you would find. Jabulani by the Richmond Estates is a haven of natural beauty, featuring 11 acres of lush vineyards, 3 estate ponds, a ceremony apple orchard, and a picturesque ceremony pavilion. Our venue also offers a spacious outdoor patio and a beautifully elegant reception barn, creating the perfect setting for your special day.

For your reception, our grand barn provides an open-concept space that can accommodate up to 140 guests, surrounded by the breathtaking scenery of 11 acres of vineyards along the tranquil Jock River. Jabulani is a venue like no other, offering unique amenities such as a bonfire complete with s’mores, lawn games, a scotch and cigar bar, and even a stunning log home ensuring that your wedding is truly an unforgettable experience for you and your guests.

Meet Gracie, the vibrant Special Event Manager at Jabulani Winery, where she orchestrates weddings and events hosted on the beautiful grounds. With a passion for wedding planning that ignited in her youth, and over the past seven years, she has developed her expertise in the hospitality industry, taking on diverse roles from serving and bartending to planning unforgettable occasions. A proud graduate of Algonquin College, Gracie completed a two-year program in Hospitality Hotel & Restaurant Management, followed by a one-year Event Management course, graduating with honours. Her education, combined with her natural talent for organization, has equipped her with a strong foundation in creating magical experiences for couples on their special days. Despite her youth, Gracie’s determined spirit and keen eye for detail make her an invaluable asset to any event at Jabulani. Known for her infectious smile and love of people, she thrives on turning dreams into reality for brides and grooms. Having lived in Richmond her entire life, Gracie is a familiar face in the community and is committed to making every wedding a truly memorable occasion at Jabulani Winery.

Meet Makayla, the creative force behind extraordinary wedding celebrations at Jabulani Winery, located within The Richmond Estate. As the Director of Weddings & Events and proud owner at both Jabulani and its sister winery, Calamus, Makayla specializes in curating experiences that leave a lasting impression. With more than 15 years in the industry, across various venues, playing a vital role in the success of both wineries. As a third-generation owner, she is passionate about providing unforgettable wedding experiences, focusing on the individuality of each event to create a personalized experience. Makayla oversees a dedicated event team at both wineries, focused on providing a warm, family-oriented experience and committed to alleviating stress on your wedding with our all-inclusive packages, allowing you to fully enjoy every moment.
