Say I do at Jabulani Winery at The Richmond Estate, Ottawa’s venue of the year in 2023. The only winery in Ottawa hosting barn weddings. The estate only hosts one wedding per day on our 37-acre Richmond Esate. 30 minutes from Downtown Ottawa. It is the venue you didn’t think you would find. Jabulani by the Richmond Estates is a haven of natural beauty, featuring 11 acres of lush vineyards, 3 estate ponds, a ceremony apple orchard, and a picturesque ceremony pavilion. Our venue also offers a spacious outdoor patio and a beautifully elegant reception barn, creating the perfect setting for your special day.

For your reception, our grand barn provides an open-concept space that can accommodate up to 140 guests, surrounded by the breathtaking scenery of 11 acres of vineyards along the tranquil Jock River. Jabulani is a venue like no other, offering unique amenities such as a bonfire complete with s’mores, lawn games, a scotch and cigar bar, and even a stunning log home ensuring that your wedding is truly an unforgettable experience for you and your guests.

Meet Makayla, the visionary behind unforgettable wedding experiences at Jabulani Winery, nestled within The Richmond Estate. As the Director of Sales & Events and a proud owner, Makayla orchestrates magical moments that linger in memories forever. She takes the reins at our sister winery, Calamus Estate Winery in Niagara, where she oversees and directs over 100 events a year.

Although you may catch Makayla onsite, assisting in ensuring every detail is perfect. With over 15 years of expertise spanning diverse venues, her journey has led to her pivotal role at Calamus & Jabulani. As a third-generation owner, her dedication to crafting seamless wedding experiences is unparalleled.  She thrives on the unique essence of each wedding, event, and client, reveling in the diversity and finding joy in a couples love story.
